this is for final sem project laa...

so group aku wat email server WinMail Server Pro.
and client ialah outlook explorer dan microsoft outlook...
and the result is awesome!
ktowank berjaya lakukan connecting between server and the client...
and between client and client.

sounds mcm biase jew kan..?
tp ktowank memng puas r n enjoy..
cz we learn new knowledges!

okay, jom sembang kit pasal WinMail server..
Winmail server nie usually digunakan utk company besar2..
security features nyer best..
ade filter...
SMTP Filter, Mail Filter..etc
anti-virus protection..
utk spam protection,
dan sebagainyer..

first, make sure dulu yg SMTP, POP3, IMAP dan sekutu dgn nyer dalam keadaan running..
then, create domain (cth: gaga.com)
pastu, configure services provided..
cth nyer modift basic parameter, HELO/EHLO host name etc....

then baru create group..(cth: big group)
pastu users ( Cth nyer: sherz@gaga.com, ailin@gaga.com, myra@gaga.com)

tp sebelom tue, make sure kiter dah fix kan kat host computer about IP address dan domain name(gaga.com)
my computer> C > window>system32>driver>etc>host
host open by notepad, okay..?
then tulis la domain name dan ip address...

pastu, ble dah siap, g kat http://localhost:6080/
nanti akan kuar web mail...
login dgn masukkan username dan password..

now, bley la main seend2 message kat client...
tp make sure client pon dah connect ngn server taw...
=)

ok..meh aku share kit2 bout open source nih..

open source software ialah software yang bloeh kite dapat secara free bersama source code nyer..
cth application: Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Flickr, you-tube...even LINUX pon open source gak..

Kiter ader 3 jenis software..
1) open source software
2) Free software
3) Proprietary software ( licensed software)

P/s: actually open source and free software sama jerk Tapi de sikit perbezaan la...itu aku tak mo sembang la...try carik sendiri k..=)

open source nih, kite leyh copy, modify and redistributed..
tak macam proprietary yang maner kiter kena byr kalo nk guna source drpd software tue..

open source ni terdiri drpd software ngn source code
mcm Kek ngn recipe la...

tapi Proprietary nih mcm kek tapi x de resepi..
so mana satu korang prefer?

hari ni da lab INternet..
rini blaja pasal mailEnable and ThunderBird...

mailEnable nih email server..
Thunderbird nih lak email client..

mula2 install dlu mailEnable, then setting la domain name, post office name and create account..
tu sume kat account setting..
name user aku ailin@group2a.com
pastu, click Start > Programs > MailEnable>MailEnable Administrator.
ini nak check list of service yg disediakan.

kalo nk configure relay setting lak,
pegi kat Servers >localhost >Connectors
kat sini, kite ley authenticate email tu atau kite ley anta kat non-local address...

kalo nk tambah domain ...g kat Messaging Manager>PostOffices>group2a(cth nama group aku la...)>Domains>right click domain then pilih New. pastu masukkan domain name baru then pilih postmaster.Klik Apply.

pastu nak wat mailbox,
g kat..Post Office>Mailboxes> pastu right klik>pilih new
masukkan la nama kite..ngn password...

wat la dua mailbox...
satu utk user and satu lg utk admin...
baru ley anta messages...
meshti jadi nyer...=)

kalo ThunderBird lak...
install dulu then nanti akan kuar email wizard..
itu utk setup new account..
masukkan nama user dan password yg sama mcm kite wat kat mailEnable td...
cth: username: ailin@group2a.com
password: ailin

pastu pilih POP...
then fix kan incoming server...
cth: group2a.com

lastly, klik GetEmail...
t kite akn dapat messages yg ader dlm inbox kite...
=)

ok...
ni jew la yg aku nk share rini...
aku nk share bkn ape...sebab aku suke blaja bende2 cmni...
so,aku pon nk kowank gak taw....
